ABOUT ME
Allyson is a seasoned PR professional with more than 10 years of industry experience and has diverse experience having worked for both agencies and in-house companies.
She has built brands and product awareness through the media from the ground up as the first PR hire for a number of startups. Most notably she built the communications strategy for Plum Organics. She has the ability to creatively think out of the box to achieve media exposure across various types of outlets including: print; broadcast and online.
Her industry experience ranges from healthcare, startups, health & wellness, food & beverage, nonprofits, entertainment, fine arts, and technology.
She holds a MS in Public Relations and Corporate Communications from New York University and a BA in Communications from Marymount Manhattan College.
She is an adjunct professor teaching PR Writing at her alma mater, Marymount Manhattan College.
